Monu(mo)ments is an artistic concept and project based in Oslo, Norway. Established by Eliot Moleba, it is dedicated to making commemorative ‘monumoments’ based on stories of ordinary Norwegians with ‘immigration or/and multicultural backgrounds’, focusing on an event that happened in a public space and experienced as a life changing moment. To commemorate the narrated event, each story is turned into a ‘monument’ that is installed at the site where it took place. By manifesting their stories, a part of their lived experiences is physically or emotionally inscribed on and through the landscape.
Rico On The Run (2.0)

The story of a home on four wheels, recreated through a motorhome ready to embark on an adventure with you! This project was launched by Phinitduang in 2023 and presented at Oslo Open 2024.
Rico-on-the-run tells the story of Chollada’s life, shared, transcribed, and crafted into an e-book as a collaboration between Moleba and Phinitduang. The story, My Moving Castle, will be published as a physical book in 2025 and will evolve into a performance project.

Silent Shower took place in Oslo, Norway, with a presentation on December 2, 2023, as part of the Mind the Gap event at Scenehuset. This project explores artistic exchange through a methodical approach in "slowness," examining how light, sound, movement, and objects come together to create a cohesive artistic experience. By focusing on the phenomenology of "tactile cognition" or "thinking skin," the project draws inspiration from Jennifer-Lynn Crawford’s artistic essay Reflections on Skin, which articulates her practice and philosophy surrounding the layers of skin.

Engaging with the sensations and imagery of dual "skins," the project explores the concept of time. Dancers embody the theoretical ideas through movement, a sound designer interacts with the dancers to generate live compositions, and a light designer enhances the immersive experience, crafting a tactile, visual world that plays with the perception of time and slowness to create a sense of elasticity. In its conceptual phase, Reflection Upon the Skin investigates how skin functions as a boundary, medium, and memory keeper, capturing both individual and shared histories. This project aims to convey how the body’s surface can reveal deeper dimensions of identity and lived experience.
